Princeton Battlefield State Park
Interpretive Panels
Located in areas around the park, these interpretive panels provide information on events surrounding the Battle of Princeton and on structures around the Park. Two panels near the parking lot display maps and text concerning events that lead up to the Battle. Just beyond a third panel provides information on the Thomas Clarke House.
On the hill above the flag pole a panel located near an American artillery placement describes part of the battle while one near the Mercer Oak site speaks about General Hugh Mercer and the tree named for him.
By the roadside on the north side of the Park a panel gives the history of the Colonnade and images of the two buildings they were once part of.
An additional panel near the Stony Brook Friends Meetinghouse describes that building.
